After some tight bowling CICC lost their first wicket in the 5th over and after that DCC kept on taking wickets at regular intervals. DCC lost only a single wicket in the batting powerplay in the form of Abhijit in 5th over and then Ramji in 7th. The batting duo of Jayesh and Jimmy kept the RRO under 6 with a good partnership of 30+runs. But couple of quick wickets in the middle overs made the chase quite tough and DCC required 38 runs to win from 30 balls. The 16th over was the turning point in the chase as Yogesh hit a couple of sixes in the over to bring the RRO under 5 and to finish an easy chase in the end with more than 2 overs remaining.
