Tornadoes shock Strikers. CCC Strikers' juggernaut dismantled by excellent bowling & world-class cha
CCC Strikers win the toss & inexplicably debate what to do to get maximum practice. A big no-no taking any opposition lightly. They choose to bat. After a couple of tough catches get dropped, Strikers post a good aggressive total first seven overs. After two quick wickets (Senthil gets bowled around the wickets after getting troubled by Sriktnath; Naren takes a good catch to reward Sai's persistent good bowling to get rid of Voru), Amit jain & Madhav stabilize with an excellent partnership. Bharath falls cheaply for the second straight game (Naren producing an unplayable ball & Rahul taking a very sharp catch at slip to make it happen). Sunny Patel is batting on a different pitch. He takes all bowlers on & produces a breezy innings to pull Strikers out of trouble.

Jain plays on beautifully. Vaidy provides support but either batsmen couldn't get the prodding yorkers & excellent death bowling away. Strikers end at 229.
Hari Prashanth Sundaram - one the best (if not the best) batsmen MCT has seen decides to play for Tornadoes while visiting his friends in Columbus. He looks a bit out of touch on the pitch he has not played in a while. Aditya Wagh, the new found Bowling talent for Strikers compounds his trouble with probing length. Gowtham Voruganti is not ready for a sharp chance at second slip on the very third ball of first over - giving a reprieve to Hari. Rahul Joshi plays confidently to get some runs on board. With Hari gaining strength, Jasbir & then Murthy give great support -  Murthy launching into a big sixer to break shackles. Vaidy gives a another reprieve by dropping an absolute sitter when Hari was trying to accelerate. Later, Sunny Patel & Senthil krishna -  provide a lot of fodder for Hari to put Strikers in an improbable situation where losing was a real proposition. Hari plays some sensational shots, placed to perfection, to keep Tornadoes ahead in the chase despite best efforts from Strikers' bowling.

Srikanth & Naren stitch a great partnership out of pure belief & will to win, to put Tornadoes on the door step of a historic chase & win. Naren easily the pick of the batsmen when it came to fighting spirit & will to win that he displayed by diving full-length to avoid a runout.

Strikers strike back to take two quick wickets. Naren continues to run suicidal singles but the spirit of Tornadoes prevails as they take apart vaunted CCC strikers & crush them for big win with two overs to spare.

Strikers outplay UCC to book big win on the new Tuttle Park ground
Strikers won the toss & chose to bat on a brand new pitch which is known to sport a few bad spots.
Senthil & Deepak apparently didn't remember the pitch report. They were aggressive from the start & stroked beautifully.
Having landed in the country only two days ago, Senthil apparently also didn't remember Jet lag as Deepak played second fiddle to some clean hitting by Senthil. Both openers also took superbly judged singles the helped put pressure on the bowlers. Deepak woke up after few overs & blazed away. The boundaries were big but both still cleared them with big sixes on Midwicket & Cover boundaries respectively.
Voruganti played a good stabilizing innings before falling to Uday - who was easily the best bowler on both teams that day. Uday consistently exploited the bad spots on the pitch & also was very disciplined with the line he bowled. Amit Jain & Bharath stabilized the innings further. Dinesh & Sunny blazed away towards the end to put CCC in a commanding position at 255 runs off 35 overs
Fast outfield meant no total is big enough. Praveen Bulusu & Faisal looked in great touch -Faisal's beautiful cover drive first ball looking ominous. JD takes a great running catch to dismiss Faisal at third man. Bharath takes screamer at mid off to dismiss new talent Gurinder Saini. Madhav gets Bhavik first ball LBW to put UCC firmly on the back-foot.
Subhodh plays a steady hand to keep UCC in the hunt. Abish flashes briefly. Fahad plays confidently to set up a doable finish but need partners.  Subodh is brilliantly runout by Dinesh & Tajinder struggles to setoff, resulting in an easy win for CCC.

Strikers Chase down OSU's 209 like pros. Dilshan's brilliant century in vain
OSU start slowly but Dilshan plays agressively from start. Anoop looks super good but gets run out on a bad call & lazy reaction. Raghavan start very slowly but plays an excellent suport role while Dilshan is brilliant in stroke making. Dilshan makes CCC pay for dropped catches - 2 of which were simple regulations ones - gets to his century in 34th over. A few strikes from tailenders get OSU to a challenging 208.
Deepak starts off in brilliant fashion and gets CCC Strikers to a rollicking start - falls at 49 in the second consecutive game at EMeralds. Jain looks in good touch flashes briefly. Sunny & Dinesh stich an excellent match winning partnership to take Strikers to the brink. Bharath is dismissed cheaply thanks to a brilliant leaping & full length diving catch by Lakshika. Prashanth Taukari finishes in style while Sunny's brilliance keeps the nerves cool in a breezy finish
Strikers Vs OSU Scorecard Jun 18, 2016
CCC Strikers beat a spirited Dublin Cricket Club (formerly Hilliard Cricket Club)
Stirkers were under early trouble - Deepak looked good but fell right after first break. 49/3 in 12.3 overs. Bharath & Sunny put together an excellent partnership to pull CCC not only out of trouble, but towards a big total.
Anwer double strike Sixers were important blows to inflate CCC total. Taukari & Madhav score timely boundaries to push past 200. Strikers end at 214

Chaitanya Malineni tore into Amit Atrey's first over. Anhwanth took the cue & upped his aggression to post 50 in 3 overs!
Anwer takes a good catch to get rid of very dangerous & supremely confident Malineni. Dinesh cleans up lethal-looking Ashwanth.
Erratic bowling & some clean strikes from Harsha keeps the pressure on Strikers. Madhu plays beautifully to keep one end up.
Enter Amit Jain & Deepak Kher. Bowlers hunt in pairs - boy did they hunt.
With 55 needed 11 overs, DCC lost their last six wickets cheaply - excellent field placement by captain & bowlers; brilliant catching (Vaidy, Dinesh) and a final death blow (Hat-trick by Amit Jain) ended the game quickly
